CONSIDER SOMEONE ELSE

I was first consciously exposed to homelessness at the age of 8 years old. I observed a man living on the street and it left an impression upon me as a child. It was very hot outside, and yet he was dressed in so much clothing. It was easy to see that his hygiene was poor and he was not groomed. I remember asking about the reason why the man was on the street. It was replied to me that he lived there. I can still picture his face today.

On DC & MD streets, I often give to those in need when travelling to and from my destinations. I feel passionate about doing my part in contributing into the lives of others. I believe that GOD blesses me when I do good and help others. I believe that this site is meaningful and will educate others in the way of giving, donating, and volunteering, which are all elements of social contribution. I give to my friends and family as often as I can. I give not only money, but time and consideration. I also try to give understanding to others and their circumstances.

I started CSE based upon the inspiration of true friend, who has passed away. His charitable acts were honorable. People should support this site because in addition to status updates and ways to connect with friends, it also offers a way for people to help other people.
